Mackinac Island

The highlight of our Michigan trip was Mackinac Island (Google it I swear it's spelled that way). We chose the perfect day to go. The weather was in the 70's and overcast so we spent the whole day out. Because there are no automobiles on the island, the first thing we did was rent bikes. The path around the Island is about 8 miles and gorgeous the whole way as you can see in the pictures (Click collage to enlarge it). That top right corner is a shot of the Grand Hotel where Somewhere in Time was filmed. I won't bore everyone with pictures of all of the houses on the island but they are so beautiful!
