DAT

It's official, Keith has finally taken the DAT (Dental Admissions Test) and he passed with flying colors! Really is anyone surprised? Keith has been under so much stress preparing for this test but his hard work has really payed off. He got a 20 on the science overall and a 19 on the academic overall. Both are above average and with his competitive GPA and early submission, he should have a good shot at securing some interviews this fall. I am so proud of him and so happy that he can enjoy the rest of his summer.

Last Monday we found out that

I guess it's not official until the baby actually comes but we can hope that three different doctors told us the correct gender. We had our ultrasound on the 16th when I was a little over 20 weeks. It was so fun to see her moving around and see the growth she's made in the past few weeks. Right now she's measuring a little smaller so they're thinking the baby probably won't come until the first week of November. My due date is still October 31st but we're not counting on a Halloween baby.

Christmas in June

I'd heard the stories but I had never witnessed it until yesterday...SNOW in JUNE!! Keith and I both thought it was pretty chilly when we left our apartment yesterday morning at 7:30 to go to class. Thinking it would warm up I didn't bother to grab a coat. Who would have thought that at approximately 10 AM as I walked out of the library to go to class I would find myself in a mini blizzard! Luckily, it only lasted for about a half hour and the snow melted quickly. With the arrival of our stimulus check that afternoon I had the thought that perhaps Rexburg was really just treating us to an early Christmas. For those of you who worship Al Gore and believe his ridiculous global warming theory, I think you just need to spend a year in Rexburg where the average yearly temperature is just below zero...even in June.

Dance Dance

Our sister-in-law Joy and her two kids Gideon and Ava visited us on Monday which was so fun. We realized how boring our apartment was when the kids couldn't find anything to do. Keith is a pretty good entertainer though and kept the kids busy rolling dice, eating chocolate (ok that was my doing) and dancing to the guitar. The second Keith started playing, little Ava started swaying her hips and Gideon quickly joined in.

Thanks for stopping by Joy! We loved seeing you and the kids and hope the rest of your pregnancy goes good.

1964 The Tribute

On Saturday, Keith and I went to The Tribute concert on campus. The group dresses up like the Beatles, they talk like them and act like them, and best of all, they sound just like them! They were great entertainers and you absolutely can't beat the $5 student ticket prices. We had a blast and took a couple of videos for your viewing pleasure. The second video cracked us up when we watched it! Keith was holding the camera and needless to say, most of what you get to hear is Keith's umm beautiful voice. I apologize in advance...
